Summary
Honeysuckle House is an elegant family home which sleeps 11+1 guests, in five beautiful bedrooms (with the +1 option being a pull out bed in bedroom 5), with three bathrooms. Recently refurbished to a high standard, the property exudes style throughout, and the owners have cleverly designed the ground floor rooms so that they flow seamlessly into one another yet can be separated with glass doors if desired.
Every room has been tastefully decorated in a contemporary style and there is an abundance of modern facilities, including wireless internet access, two TVs with Netflix access and a well-equipped kitchen. These facilities are complemented by stunning features ranging from the glass roof lantern in the dining room, down to smaller touches like the pretty radiator covers and artwork. There is an enclosed garden with a trampoline, and a private driveway provides off-street parking for up to five cars.
Location
Honeysuckle House is located in the hamlet of Ewen, a peaceful rural setting with a well-regarded country pub, The Wild Duck Inn (please note that the pub is currently closed for refurbishment and will reopen early next year). Just a mile from Ewen is the village of Kemble, with its general store, post office, Inn and direct train line to London. The Roman town of Cirencester is four miles away, with a variety of boutiques and restaurants to enjoy, and many more towns and villages of the Cotswolds are just a short drive away, including Tetbury, Nailsworth and Burford.
Ewen is surrounded by beautiful countryside, with many cycle routes and walks on its doorstep, including the Thames Path which starts in nearby Kemble and heads Eastwards following the course of the river towards London. The Cotswold Water Park offers many interesting activities for all ages, and further afield destinations such as Bath, Cheltenham and Oxford are within easy reach for day trips.

-"Awesome place, really stylish.", Kamal, August 2020
-"We had a brilliant time at Honeysuckle House. Our favourite spot was the kitchen. It was so spacious and social. We enjoyed cooking family meals. The two fridges was super handy too! The bathrooms were clean and decorated to a high standard. The shower in the master suite was divine; one of the best showers I’ve experienced. The layout, decor and style of the place made it feel like a home away from home. Would definitely recommend.", Nirali, August 2020
-"We absolutely loved our stay at Honeysuckle house. Ewen is a beautiful village with lovely walks easily accessible from the house. The house is super stylish and has everything you need to make yourself at home! Would highly recommend a stay here , I left feeling super relaxed and rejuvenated after being out in the country!", Emma, March 2020
-"We spent the whole weekend in this excellent property that was of a very high spec. It exceeded our expectations. One did not want for anything. Gorgeous stove in cosy sitting room which had 2 cupboards of games that we took full advantage of over a warm fire. The whole property was spotlessly clean. All essential services were well labelled easing the pressure of trying to figure out how services worked. The surrounding area is just beautiful. The provided maps helped us plan our daily walks prior to returning to a well equipped kitchen to cook up a feast.”, Aisling, March 2020
-"Highly recommended venue! It is a beautiful house in a superb location. We stayed here for Cheltenham races, the host was amazing with supporting us with taxis and suggesting eating venues. The house was sparkling clean with more than enough space for 11 of us & all our cars.", Zoe, March 2020
-"This is a great house to host large groups of people. The open spaces of the down the stairs make a great social place to cook, eat and have fun. Host has even thought on rainy days and how to keep kids entertained with a cupboard full of crafts!”, Maria, February 2020
-"Honeysuckle House is absolutely stunning, even better than the already fantastic pictures. It’s really well equipped, especially with plenty of kitchen equipment if you’ve got the full amount of guests. The location is great with plenty of pubs to pick from within quick driving distance. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough and hope to be able to stay again!”, Lucy, February 2020
-"12 of us stayed for a university friends reunion and it was the perfect space for us all to catch up and relax together. The open plan kitchen and diner was the best part of the house as we were all able to help cook and eat together without feeling cramped. Each bedroom was decorated beautifully and it really felt like being in someone’s home. We were so glad we chose to host the reunion in a house rather than a hotel. Whilst we didn’t leave the house all that much as it had everything we need we did venture to a local pub which was only a short walk away across lovely countryside. If you’re looking for a house to be with family or friends in the quiet countryside, this house is for you.”, Victoria, February 2020
-"Another amazing stay at a Character Cottages property, beautifully furnished and well equipped. Super cosy with the log fire and plenty space for a weekend with friends.
