Description

Summary

Bunt Barn is a stylish Cotswold stone holiday home which sleeps six guests, in three spacious bedrooms, with two bathrooms. This recently renovated barn conversion has been finished to a high standard with a warm interior that complements the country feel of the property and wonderful character features including exposed beams, exposed Cotswold stone walls and traditional furnishings. These period elements are complemented by modern facilities including wireless internet access, two TVs and underfloor heating throughout the property, and the largely open plan ground floor layout makes it perfect for socialising. There is a large garden at the front of the barn and off-street parking for up to three cars is available on the gravel driveway.

Location

Bunt Barn is tucked away in the picturesque village of Broadwell, a quaint and unspoilt village which benefits from a popular pub, a village hall which hosts a tea and cake morning once a week, and a large green which has a children’s playground. Situated within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the village is surrounded by glorious countryside, with many cycle routes and walks on its doorstep, including the Monarch’s Way long distance walking trail which passes through Broadwell on its way to Stow-on-the-Wold, just a mile away. Another popular destination nearby is Daylesford, home to the renowned Daylesford Organic Farmshop and Café. The café serves food throughout the day and there is also a restaurant for a more refined dining experience.

Broadwell is well placed for exploring many of the lovely towns and villages of the North Cotswolds, including Chipping Norton, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Kingham to name just a few. Between them they offer a wide range of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms to enjoy, along with a number of attractions to discover, such as the Model Village and Cotswold Motoring and Toy Museum in Bourton and the historic sights of Stow with its market square, old town stocks and medieval cross. Further afield places such as Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford, Blenheim Palace and Bath are also within easy reach for day trips.
