Copperbeech is a beautiful property which sleeps six guests, in three elegant bedrooms, with two bathrooms. Dating back to the early 1800s, this striking townhouse with its rendered façade and contemporary interiors is complemented by character features such as the wood burning stove in the living room and original wood flooring in the eaves. Laid out over three floors, this well-appointed home has a number of modern facilities including wireless internet access, a Smart TV and a well-equipped kitchen with marble quartz worktops. There is an attractive walled garden at the rear and free on-street parking close to the property.

Copperbeech enjoys a central location in the much loved market town of Stow-on-the-Wold, a thriving town which offers a range of shops, restaurants and tearooms, and even claims to be home to Britain's oldest pub. Overlooked by the impressive St Edward’s Church, the picturesque market square is steeped in history and retains its old town stocks, medieval cross and narrow alleys, or “tures”, which wind their way from the surrounding streets into the square. During the wool industry, these alleys were used as a way to channel and count the many sheep on their way to market and it was once recorded that 20,000 sheep were sold in a day.

Stow is well-placed for exploring the glorious countryside of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with various cycle routes and walking trails on its doorstep. Popular footpaths include those to the nearby village of Bourton-on-the-Water via The Slaughters, and others which take in idyllic Broadwell and The Oddingtons, all home to well-regarded country inns. Further afield destinations such as Bath, Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon are within easy reach for day trips.
