-"I'm a super picky traveller who works for a 5 star Resort destination and I have to say this property was gorgeous. It's exactly as outlined in the pictures. I could literally recreate the decor in my home. The location is beautiful. The neighbours are so friendly and lovely - we had a great night at the local pub meeting the cricket team and friends. The Cotswolds and this particular location are beautiful. Broadway, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow On The Wold and my favourite Upper and Lower Slaughters all on your doorstep. Hiking, horseback riding, cute villages, great food all situated from a stunning property. Loved it!", Sarah, June 2019

- "We travelled as two families with two children each. The cottage was spacious enough for all of us and was stocked with plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. The owners did a wonderful job in making the cottage cosy and homely with great attention to detail. As the weather was beautiful, we could make ample use of the garden where once again, even with 8 people in total, there was enough space for all of us.", Bettina, May 2018
- "A delightful and well appointed property. The cottage is in a picturesque small village, with easy access to lots of other beautiful villages. It suited our family of five with three young children and our friends in the annex (or Love Shack as we called it) extremely well. If anything it is better than what the pictures show and has lots of things for an indulgent escape, including kitchen equipment, maps of walking trails etc. Everything is basically new and it is well appointed.", Ingrid, October 2017
- "Truly stunning! Fairview cottage is amazing. It has everything you could ever want for a wonderful experience. Longborough is a quaint village with a very friendly pub and shop just along the road. The cottage is beautifully set out and has lots of special touches to make your stay memorable. The decor is well thought out and of quality standard. Our family loved the garden which had a great lawn for the children, a lovely patio and BBQ. We visited the Cotswold Wildlife Park which was fabulous and also stunning bourton on the water. Overall we had a wonderful long weekend break and didnt want to leave!! Recommended 100% and thank you.", Carole, September 2017
- “Beautifully renovated cottage. Modern kitchen and bathrooms with everything we needed. Lovely attention to detail. Cosy when cold outside and lovely garden for kids to play in when warm. - "Beautiful cottage, great location and very well catered for. Thank you.", Amanda, May 2017
- "Fairview Cottage is like The Tardis... it looks small from the outside but is spacious, well equipped, beautifully furnished and comfortable on the inside with plenty of room for 8 people. Beds were comfortable though we all thought the duvets were too heavy. We could have done with more than 3 dishwasher tablets and I banged my head a few times on the (low) cooker hood, but generally the kitchen was well-equipped (1 chipped mug- but I don't think we were responsible!)and the dining table was ideal for our birthday party. It said there was a voucher for the shop- but there wasn't! There was always plenty of hot water; however we noticed a small amount of water overflowing somehow from the en-suite shower, running down the support at the bottom of the stairs (only occurred after 1 shower, not every time). The garden table and chairs were well-used, given the fabulous weather last weekend, and we enjoyed the delightful garden in the sunshine. The village is lovely and we enjoyed the pub and walks locally. Overall very comfortable and luxurious; a pleasure to stay in your cottage and we all highly recommend it." Valerie, April 2017
- "A beautiful cottage in a superb location, the quality to detail is superb. The owners have not scrimped on any part of the property and the quality is high. A great family break that I would highly recommend. The owners have also not been greedy on price and it is very competitive for what you receive. Keep up the good work." Jason Hutchings, April 2017
- “Beautiful cottage. Really stylish. They have thought of everything! Very comfortable beds. Great position next to the village pub and shop and working easy reach of walks and Stow. We will be back!”, Melissa, March 2017
- “Wonderful cottage. So well equipped and beautifully furnished. Lovely walks on doorstep.”, Jane, February 2017
- “Definitely a beautiful and characterful cottage, Fairview is comfortable, cosy and thoughtfully equipped and decorated throughout. Highly recommended. We also welcomed being able to walk to the village shop and the friendly local pub for homemade Sunday lunch.
Longborough was also a great central Cotswold location for us, as family members who were joining us from London were able to get a direct train to Moreton-on-the-Marsh which was only 3 miles away.”, Julie, December 2016
- “Very comfortable accommodation. The Christmas decorations were the icing on the cake! We had a lovely time.”, Linda, December 2016
- “Beautiful cottage, well managed, decorated and utilities. Loved the stay, the walks and local pub.”, Michael, November 2016
- "We had a fantastic stay at Fairview Cottage. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable - we couldn't have chosen a better place. Thank you." Ann Petty, November 2016
- "Had such an amazing weekend with friends at Fairview. We have the serious blues to be back in London after such a wonderful and peaceful few nights with copious bottles of wine! The cottage was extremely well equipped and we can't wait to book our next stay there already." Charlotte, October 2016
- "A lovely cottage in great location.", Paula, October 2016
- "I stayed at Fairview Cottage in August with some friends to celebrate my 50th birthday. The cottage is set in a beautiful little village, with a pub 50 yards away and a shop/café about 30 yards away - the cottage itself is stunning. No expense has been spared here, it is of the highest quality. I had a bottle of wine and a birthday cake waiting on arrival, a lovely touch thank you. The weather held off for the weekend and we were able to eat breakfast and have evening drinks out in the beautiful garden. The 4 bedrooms were of the highest quality. I stayed in the outside annexe bedroom which was gorgeous, and everything was immaculate. The furnishings were very high quality, the kitchen was very high quality, the bedrooms, the bathrooms etc etc I think you get the picture. Attention to detail such as a chalk board in the kitchen with details of all the local shows and events in the area detailed by month show how much the owners care about making this the perfect place to stay. A perfect cottage made for a lovely birthday weekend. I don’t think I could praise this place highly enough, can I give it more than 5 stars?"
- "...If Heineken did holiday cottages, they’d probably do them like this!” Brian, August 16
