Summary
Greenview Cottage is a beautifully presented Cotswold stone property which sleeps 6+2 guests, in four bedrooms (with the +2 option being the double bed in bedroom 4), with two stylish bathrooms. Dating back to the early 18th century, this picture-perfect Grade II listed home has an abundance of character features including exposed wooden beams, natural stone flooring, stone mullion windows and a large inglenook fireplace with a cosy wood burning stove. These period touches have been complemented by elegant furnishings and modern facilities such as wireless internet access, two Smart TVs with a basic Sky package, and a well-equipped kitchen. The attractive courtyard garden at the rear is perfect for the warmer weather and there are two allocated off-street parking spaces available.
Location
Greenview Cottage is peacefully positioned overlooking the village green of Little Barrington, a quintessential English village in the Windrush Valley. Picturesque honey coloured Cotswold stone properties line the lanes and the award-winning village pub, The Fox Inn, has an idyllic setting alongside the River Windrush. Surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are many walks and cycle routes to explore, as well as popular attractions including the Cotswold Wildlife Park, a great day out for all the family including four-legged companions, Birdland Park and Gardens and Asthall Manor.
The chocolate-box medieval town of Burford is just three miles away, home to a number of independent boutiques, galleries, tearooms and restaurants. Considered the southern gateway to the Cotswolds, the High Street descends from the high Wolds down to the River Windrush, offering stunning views across the valley. Little Barrington’s central location within the Cotswolds makes it a good base for exploring the other lovely towns and villages in the area including Stow-on-the-Wold, Cirencester, Bourton-on-the-Water and Kingham. World famous destinations such as Blenheim Palace, Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon and Bath are also easily accessible for day trips.

The security deposit is payable prior to arrival at the property, via a bank transfer or a valid debit or credit card.
Occupancy
The maximum occupancy of the property is 6+2 guests (with the +2 option being the double bed in bedroom 4), at any point during your stay. Please consult us prior to booking if you wish to discuss the possibility of having more than eight guests at the property.
Infants who sleep in a cot do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions, the occupancy figure may only be exceeded by up to two additional infants.
