Description

Summary

Built from classic, honey coloured Cotswold stone and dating back to the 17th century, Hainault House is a double fronted, Grade II listed property. The house sleeps a maximum of eight people, in four bedrooms, with a family bathroom and further ensuite bathroom, as well as two separate living rooms.

Hainault House boasts many character features, including mullion windows, flagstone floors, exposed Cotswold stone walls and a large inglenook fireplace. The character of the house is complemented by the contemporary decor and modern facilities, including wireless broadband, Smart TV with DVD player, and a well-equipped kitchen. Location

Hainault House stands proudly on the raised pavements of Blockley, one of the larger villages of the Cotswolds. This peaceful and picturesque village benefits from having two pubs and a community owned village shop & café, as well as a historic Norman church in the centre of the village.

Blockley is away from the main roads, which allows visitors to get a real sense of rural life, such as enjoying the rolling countryside which falls within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Blockley is close to the popular Cotswold market towns of Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Camden and Stow-on-the-Wold, and many stunning countryside walks are right on the doorstep.
