Summary
Harts Cottage is a stylish Cotswold stone property which sleeps six guests, in three contemporary bedrooms, with two bathrooms. Dating back to the early 1800s, the property has retained lovely period features including original flagstone flooring, exposed stone, two fireplaces with wood burning stoves, and exposed wooden beams. These character features are complemented by elegant décor and modern facilities including underfloor heating in the well-equipped kitchen and living room, wireless internet access and a Smart TV. The enchanting enclosed garden is awash with colour in the spring and summer months and off-street parking for up to two cars is available at the rear of the property.
Location
Harts Cottage is tucked away in the picturesque, peaceful village of Lower Oddington, with its 11th century church, attractive cottages lining the lanes and well-regarded pub, The Fox Inn, which is popular amongst locals and visitors alike, boasting an award-winning menu and an inviting atmosphere. The neighbouring village of Upper Oddington is also home to a well-loved pub, The Horse & Groom, and a pleasant walk over the fields leads to the Daylesford Organic Farmshop and Café which is open seven days a week, offering breakfast, brunch, afternoon tea, evening suppers and more.
Surrounded by the stunning countryside which forms the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are many delightful walks from the village including routes over to Chastleton House and Garden, owned by the National Trust, The Rollright Stones, a prehistoric stone circle, and Kingham, home to two fine restaurants. Lower Oddington is well-placed for exploring the many charming market towns and villages of the North Cotswolds including Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Norton, Moreton-in-Marsh and Bourton-on-the-Water, all offering a range of shops, pubs, tearooms and attractions to enjoy. Further afield destinations such as Oxford, Blenheim Palace and Cheltenham are easily accessible for day trips.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.
Security deposits
A security deposit of £200 is payable, which is returned after the letting period, subject to an inspection of the property. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival. In the event that the owners, or their appointed housekeepers, have to spend additional time tidying up after your departure, then the cost of this extra time may be deducted from your security deposit. The security deposit is payable prior to arrival at the property, via a bank transfer or a valid debit or credit card.
Occupancy
The maximum occupancy of the property, including its grounds, is six guests, at any point during your stay. Unauthorised over occupancy is a breach of our terms and conditions and may result in the cancellation of your booking and additional charges. Please consult us prior to booking if you wish to discuss the possibility of having more than six guests at the property.
Infants who sleep in a cot do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions, the occupancy figure may only be exceeded by up to two additional infants.
Pets
One dog is accepted, at a cost of £20 per booking.
For the comfort of future guests, we ask that dogs remain downstairs, stay off the furniture and that no trace of a dog remains after your departure.
Bed linen and towels
Bed linen and towels are provided for guests.
