Summary
Honeysuckle Cottage is a beautiful period property, with stunning views of the surrounding Cotswold countryside. Located in the picturesque village of Blockley, the cottage is one of a row of traditional Cotswold stone cottages built to house the weavers who once worked in the many silk mills of the village. Blockley is very peaceful, yet it benefits from having two pubs and a community owned village shop & café, as well as a historic Norman church. Many beautiful country walks are accessible directly from the village, and Blockley is well placed for exploring the many beautiful towns and villages of the Cotswolds, as well as further afield places, such as Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford and Blenheim Palace.
The cottage has been lovingly furnished by its owner, to create a fresh, stylish feel that enhances the traditional character features, including exposed Cotswold stone walls, flagstone flooring, stone mullion windows, and a cosy wood burning stove. The character of the cottage is complemented by its modern facilities, including wireless internet access, a Smart TV and a well-presented kitchen.
Honeysuckle Cottage sleeps a maximum of four people, in two bedrooms, with a family bathroom. There is a lovely enclosed garden to the rear of the property and free on street parking is available. Honeysuckle Cottage is ideal for a family, friends or couples, who are looking for the perfect break in one of the North Cotswold’s prettiest villages.

Other Guest Feedback:
-"Amazing little place to stay. Smack bang in the middle of all the places we wanted to visit. Also, the little village is a hidden gem with beautiful surroundings and a lovely pub. We had a great meal at the pub which was inexpensive. It is literally 20-40 min drive from places of interest. Broadway is 9 minutes away and is absolutely stunning. The cottage itself is incredible. It has great character and is homely and inviting. The views are stunning! There were even a herd of deer in the field out the back. We will be going back for sure. Only one pointer that may be of some use, maybe the checking in time could be a little earlier especially in winter/autumn months. Although the owner did manage to get us in an hour earlier at 4pm, at 5pm (which is the official check-in time) it was pitch black outside. This is only a suggestion and I cannot stress enough how much you should book this cottage. It is incredible and we had a great stay. Thank you.", Andrew, October 2020
-"Stayed here for the weekend. Lovely cottage, perfect for 3/4 people. Great location for country walks and local towns. Very hard wearing carpet in the main lounge area, would recommend slippers. However other than that a great place to stay. Highly recommend.", Danielle, October 2020
