Description
Summary
Lanes Cottage is a beautiful Grade II listed property which dates back to the 1850s, and sleeps three guests, in two bedrooms, with a modern, ground floor shower room. Built from traditional Cotswold stone, the cottage has many character features including exposed wooden beams, an original Cotswold stone chimney breast and an abundance of local artwork. Modern touches include wireless internet access, a Smart TV and a Sony music system with CD player. There is a lovely garden at the rear of the property and on-street parking is available close by.
Location
Lanes Cottage is located in the heart of Chipping Campden, one of the best loved and most picturesque market towns in England. In addition to the wide range of small shops, pubs, tea rooms and restaurants, Chipping Campden is also popular with those who enjoy historic architecture, with St James’ Church, the Almshouses and the East Banqueting House being classic examples.
It is also surrounded by the stunning Cotswolds countryside, with the 100 mile long Cotswold Way walking trail starting in the town itself. The many other beautiful towns and villages of the Cotswolds are all just a short drive away, as are well known places such as the gardens at Hidcote, Stratford-upon-Avon and Blenheim Palace.

Other Guest Feedback:
-"A cosy cottage in a fantastic location.", Hollie, December 2020
-"Amazing place right in the centre of town. Dover Hill is a nice 20 minutes walk away and very easy to get to. The town has everything you need in it. We booked on the basis of previous reviews and they were accurate down to a T. Bedroom is spacious, nice big bathroom and enough room in the living room for 2 by the fire. would have been quite cosey with 4 though I think. Firewood is available round the corner from the Co-op. The TV is a very good quality screen which is around 38 inches. It comes away from the wall so the pictures make it look more awkward than it is. Towels were a little small so if you like a big towel would suggest bringing your own, similarly only 1 toilet roll is provided so should definitely bring extra. Would definitely go back and it gets a well deserved 5 stars.", Kieron, December 2020
