North House is a beautifully presented Cotswold stone property which sleeps four guests, in two stylish bedrooms, with a family bathroom. The owners have lovingly refurbished the house in a contemporary style with a wonderful open plan living area with oak flooring and an impressive staircase dividing the space. Dating back to the 18th century, the house has a lovely traditional exterior and three ornamental fireplaces which add touches of character through the property. Modern facilities include wireless internet access, a Smart TV and a well-equipped kitchen, and there is a large garden at the rear and off-street parking at the front.


North House is located on a quiet lane in the heart of the picturesque village of Bourton-on-the Water, often voted as one of the prettiest villages in England. Its fantastic location provides a variety of eateries within walking distance, ranging from Chinese and Italian restaurants to the tea room next door. There is a well-regarded pub close by and crossing over the River Windrush leads to the High Street, with further shops and cafes to visit. The popular tourist attractions of Birdland, the Cotswold Motoring and Toy Museum and the Model Village are worth a visit, and the latter features North House itself!

The North Cotswolds is an ideal spot for keen walkers and cyclists as it offers some spectacular routes which fall within this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, including the challenging Winchcombe to Burford cycle route which passes through Bourton itself. As well as having stunning scenery on its doorstep, North House is ideally located for exploring the many historic towns and villages of the Cotswolds region, including Stow-on-the-Wold and Broadway, and further afield places such as Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon are close by for day trips.

A charcoal barbecue is provided all year round.

There is off-street parking for two cars on the driveway at the front of the property.
