The quiet lanes are lined with properties of various architectural styles including those of traditional Cotswold stone and half-timbered black and white cottages. Childswickham benefits from having a popular country pub, and just two miles away is Broadway, one of the best loved Cotswold villages and home to a number of restaurants, pubs, galleries, tearooms and independent shops.

Childswickham is surrounded by wonderful countryside, with many walks and cycle routes on its doorstep to discover. The Cotswold Way long distance walking trail passes through neighbouring Broadway and can be followed towards the chocolate box village of Stanton or the bustling market town of Chipping Campden.
