The Barn and Stables has been wonderfully converted from two properties into a stunning and spacious house that sleeps eight guests, in four beautiful bedrooms, with three ensuite bathrooms and a well presented family bathroom. Dating back to the 18th century, it was originally part of Denfurlong Farm and retains many character features of the time, including exposed stone walls, wooden beams and an “owl hole”, which allowed owls into the barn to deal with vermin.

The property has been thoughtfully decorated, giving it an impressive, contemporary feel throughout, with many modern facilities to complement the character features. These include Smart TVs, wireless internet access, Bluetooth speakers, iPhone docking station and an elegantly designed, well-equipped kitchen. There is a large enclosed garden and ample off-street parking on the property’s drive.

The Barn and Stables is located next to a working farm on the edge of the picturesque village of Chedworth, a pretty village that benefits from having a dog friendly pub and an Anglican parish church. Just a little way out of the village is Chedworth Roman Villa, one of the largest Romano-British villas in the UK, giving visitors an insight into 4th century life.

Chedworth is situated in the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and much of the village is a conservation area, ensuring that wherever possible the distinct character of the village is maintained. Being in the heart of the Cotswolds, Chedworth is ideally located for exploring the many towns and villages of the region, including Bourton-on-the-Water, Cirencester and Cheltenham.
