Location

Tukes Cottage is just a short walk from the centre of the vibrant market town of Chipping Norton, affectionately referred to as ‘Chippy’ by the locals. Located in a conservation area, Chipping Norton is known as one of the livelier locations in the Cotswolds, with its wide variety of shops, independent restaurants, pubs and wine bars. There is plenty to do for all ages, including seeing a play at the local theatre, taking a dip in the community run lido during the summer months, discovering the history of the wool and tweed production in the museum and even taking younger visitors to the Fairytale Farm for a fun afternoon out.

There are many walking trails and cycle routes to explore within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, including those to the enigmatic Rollright Stones and nearby villages including popular Kingham. Many of the well-loved towns and villages of the North Cotswolds are just a short drive away, including Stow-on-the-Wold, Broadway and Chipping Campden. Further afield destinations such as Blenheim Palace, the dreaming spires of Oxford, and Stratford-upon-Avon are within easy reach for day trips.
