These features are complemented by contemporary design and modern facilities such as the inset wood burning stove, wireless internet access, three TVs and a well-equipped open plan kitchen. To the front of the property lies a pretty garden with a gentle stream, and off-street parking is available for two cars.


Washbrook Cottage is situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Little Compton, an unspoilt village with a handsome Manor House, a historic Norman church and a well-regarded pub, The Red Lion, just a five minute walk from the property. Surrounded by glorious countryside, there are many walks and cycle routes on its doorstep to discover, including a 10km circular walk that takes in both Long and Little Compton and offers spectacular views along the way.

Little Compton is well-placed for exploring the lovely towns and villages of the North Cotswolds, as well as the many tourist attractions the region has to offer. The bustling market town of Chipping Norton is just a short drive away, home to pubs, restaurants, tearooms, a popular theatre and Bliss Tweed Mill, an impressive piece of architecture with an iconic chimney. Little Compton is within easy reach of the Cotswold hotspots of Soho Farmhouse and Daylesford Organic Farm, and further afield destinations such as Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace and Oxford make for great day trips.

A peaceful stream which winds its way through the village flows through the garden itself, adding to the tranquil atmosphere.
