The property has been recently refurbished to a high standard, with many modern facilities including wireless internet access, four TVs and a well-equipped kitchen.
Finished in a warm, contemporary style with a lovely stone fireplace in the living room and a variety of artwork adorning the walls, Woodside has been thoughtfully designed, with the open plan feel of the downstairs living space creating a sociable environment. Location
Woodside is situated in Mickleton, a quiet village steeped in history with a wealth of beautiful architecture and an Iron Age hillfort at Meon Hill. This idyllic village benefits from having two popular country inns, a post office, traditional butcher, farm shop and an Anglican church. The Three Ways House Hotel is home to the renowned Pudding Club, a themed evening with a ‘Parade of Seven Puddings’ as the final course, a popular spot amongst national and international visitors.
Mickleton is situated in the North Cotswolds, at the bottom of the hill from Hidcote and Kiftsgate gardens. Owned by the National Trust, Hidcote is one of the best Arts and Crafts gardens in Britain, with a modest 10.5 acres to enjoy all year round. Surrounded by stunning countryside, there are many wonderful cycle routes and walking trails on Mickleton’s doorstep, as well as the popular Cotswold market towns of Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh and Broadway. Mickleton also benefits from being only approximately nine miles south of the famous Shakespearean town, Stratford-upon-Avon. All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.
Security deposits
A security deposit of £250 is payable, which is returned after the letting period, subject to an inspection of the property. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival. In the event that the owners, or their appointed housekeepers, have to spend additional time tidying up after your departure, then the cost of this extra time may be deducted from your security deposit. The security deposit is payable prior to arrival at the property, via a bank transfer or a valid debit or credit card.
Occupancy
The maximum occupancy of the property is 6+2 guests, at any point during your stay (with the +2 option being a sofa bed in the snug). Infants who sleep in a cot do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions, the occupancy figure may only be exceeded by up to two additional infants.

Other Guest Feedback:
-"Woodside exceeded our expectations and I would thoroughly recommend this property if you're looking for that perfect, cosy, Cotswolds vacation with family. The house is spacious and clean, with a charming fireplace and gorgeous morning views across a field of sheep. The kitchen is modern with smart appliances that are a pleasure to use. And the Games Room, with pool table and darts board, was perfect for a little post dinner entertainment. Just a couple of minutes' walk from the house is a very well stocked convenience store, and further along the High Street is a small post office and the Kings Arms pub, which does excellent food. The walk recommended in the guest information booklet was perfect for a sunny winter's day. We had a great time and hope to be back next year!", Joanna, December 2020
-"A beautiful home in a great location- perfectly clean with everything you would need including books and games for kids. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Thanks Anna!", Neda, October 2020
-"Thanks to Anna for a lovely stay in her beautiful cottage. The welcome guide was full of useful info, including some great walks for the dog. The cottage had everything we needed and was a great location for exploring the Cotswolds. Would recommend and stay again. Thanks again!", Scott and Megan, October 2020

-"We needed a break away during Covid 19 risks, especially for my mother has been shielding since March 2020. Had a lovely relaxing time. The house is well equipped and we enjoyed the view from the two bedrooms. Thank you.", Nina, August 2020
-"Lovely, comfortable and well presented home. Poor weather meant we couldn’t go very far but it was nice to relax in the cottage. Thank you very much.", The Langleys & The Furneauxs, August 2020
-"We had a wonderful week in your beautiful cottage and loved exploring the countryside around us. The weather was lovely and we enjoyed sitting in your garden, together with a bit of pool. Thank you, it was greatly enjoyed by all.", The Cook Family, August 2020
-"Nice house with garden in a village well served with shops, children’s park and walks. House surprisingly roomy and well presented. Good location for activities for the family. I recommend it.", Victoria, August 2020
-"We had a wonderful stay in Mickleton. The photos don’t do the house justice! Kitchen and Outside area are gorgeous, as are the bathrooms/ bedroom. Only criticism would be that the sofa bed in forth room was uncomfortable and short of toilet paper for a full house for 3 days. Very flexible check out was also great. Maybe some blankets for the outdoor seating would be a great touch. I Would be very happy to recommend to friends and family and hope to return soon.", Katie, July 2020
-"Woodside is a lovely cottage with great space downstairs for socialising. Very well stocked with everything you could possibly need - even cutlery for the little ones.”, Alison, March 2020
-"Amazing property, very much a home from home! Will be returning soon!", Aaron, March 2020

-"Wow what a fantastic house. The location was great - just a few mins walk from the village and easily accessible to Broadway and other lovely towns or villages. The house is so well equipped and newly refurbished. The open fire is lovely - so homely. You can get kindling from the local supermarket. We were 7 and the house was an ideal size but probably better with 6. We had a lot of fun with the pool table in the garage. Ample parking for 2 cars.", Wendy, January 2020

We loved the open fire and many favourable comments on the wonderful showers and great kitchen appliances. Hope to visit again. Many thanks.", The Ashelys, December 2019
