Mark “Absolutely loved this cottage, everything about it was pretty much perfect, the accommodation was beautifully furnished to a high quality, and it was in a perfect location, a quiet picturesque little village, and a country pub, which served good quality food and drink.”
The location was perfect for exploring the Cotswolds and surrounding area. My only disappointment was that the tv only showed Netflix and You tube, I’m not sure what the thinking is behind that?? Not that we wanted to sit and watch tv, but in the evening it would have been nice to be able to keep up with the news. I would highly recommend staying here, and we hope to return at some point.
- Mark, March 2022Thank you for your feedback. We are so pleased to see you loved Millham Cottage and agree it is high quality and in a perfect location. We will investigate the issue with the TV and appreciate you flagging this up to us. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Property Owner
Kiera “Really lovely Cottage.”
Bedrooms/ bathrooms were all so nice. Comfy beds and very soft lovely towels. Gorgeous modern kitchen and finishing touches. Lots of room and a fab large dining table. A very cosy feel with the log burner and under floor heating. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back.

Jo “Fantastic cottage in a lovely location.”
Very well presented, beautiful soft furnishings and great outdoor space.
- Jo, Jul 2021Sarah “This is an exceptional property in a lovely village.”
Due to Covid rules we had to change our plans from the original 8 family members who were to stay here to only 6. The other 2 of us had to book a second cottage 8 miles away. Regardless of this we had a lovely family holiday in a delightful part of the country, but this cottage was the highlight of the week!
- Sarah, Jul 2021Karen “Immaculate cottage, lovely patio area, beautiful stroll to village pub ?”
! Would highly recommend.
- Karen, Jun 2021Diane “The place was super - exactly as marketed and great value for money.”
Happy to return to the property in the future.

The property
Millham Cottages is a superb home away from home which sleeps 8+2 guests, in four delightful bedrooms (with the +2 option being a double sofa bed in the living room), with four stylish bathrooms. This picturesque property has been in the owner’s family for over one hundred years and retains many charming features such as exposed wooden beams, stone mullion windows, two inglenook fireplaces with wood burning stoves, and unique family heirlooms. These character features have been beautifully complemented by contemporary décor and modern facilities which include wireless internet access, a Smart TV, underfloor heating throughout the ground floor and a state of the art kitchen. To the rear there is a splendid patio garden, beyond which there is off-street parking for three cars on a gravel driveway. Millham Cottages is situated in peaceful Broadwell, a quaint village comprising quintessential Cotswold stone cottages, the medieval church of St Paul and a popular country pub, The Fox Inn. The pub prides itself on its locally sourced ingredients and sits across from the village green, the location of the annual fete and children’s play area. Set within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are plenty of walks and cycle routes to explore from the village including footpaths to nearby Longborough and Stow-on-the-Wold, the latter being one of the best known market towns of the Cotswolds and home to a number of pubs, restaurants and tempting tearooms. Broadwell is an ideal base for visiting the many lovely towns and villages of the North Cotswolds such as Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, The Slaughters, Bourton-on-the-Water and Broadway. There are also many tourist attractions including Birdland Park and Gardens, Batsford Arboretum, The Cotswold Distillery and a number of National Trust properties such as Snowshill Manor and Garden, Hidcote Gardens and Chastleton House. This fire pit can be used as a barbecue or simply as a means to keep warm as the weather turns colder. A row of pleached Hornbeam trees gives privacy to the garden, and the surrounding flower beds have been carefully planted by the owner, a professional gardener, to ensure year-round interest with colourful spring bulbs, fragrant catmint in the summer and sweetly scented Christmas box plants which flower in the winter months.
