There are many beautiful country walks straight from the cottage and the central Cotswolds location makes it ideal for exploring the entire region, as well as further afield places, such as Stratford-upon-Avon, Blenheim Palace, Oxford and Bath.

The front door is accessed from the cottage’s driveway, and leads into a hallway. The following rooms are on the ground floor:
Living/dining room: The majority of the ground floor space is a large, sociable, open plan area, with lovely views over the Windrush Valley. The living room area contains an ornate stone fireplace with a wood burning stove, oak beams and a wooden floor. There is a variety of comfortable seating and a Freeview TV with DVD player. The dining area contains a large table with seating for 12 and an additional comfortable sofa;
Kitchen: Part of the open plan area, the spacious kitchen contains a range cooker with 900mm wide electric oven, five ring gas hob, dishwasher and fridge;
Back kitchen/utility room: Accessed from the kitchen, with an external door, this convenient room contains a double electric oven, large fridge/freezer, microwave, two kettles and a toaster.
Snug: A lovely room to relax or to sleep in, which contains a double sofa bed and a Freeview TV;

The garden is accessed directly from the dining room and has spectacular uninterrupted views across the lovely Windrush Valley. There is a patio terrace immediately outside the door, which contains an outdoor table and chairs, plus a charcoal barbecue. Steps lead down from the patio to a lawned area, which has an unprotected ledge at the end, with a short drop down to a privately owned field in the open countryside.
At the front of the property is a private driveway, where there is parking space for two cars.

Cheltenham is a town in Gloucestershire and lies beneath Cleeve Hill, the highest point in the Cotswolds and above the vale of the River Severn. It is known as 'The Western Gateway to the Cotswolds'. This edge-of-the Cotswolds spa town is hard to beat for refined elegance and Regency terraces, annual festivals, Ladies' College and racecourse. Also fortnightly farmers markets, classy shops and restaurants all surrounded by glorious countryside. The town is home to the renowned Cheltenham Festival, 4 days of horse jump racing culminating in the Gold Cup, held annually in March at Cheltenham Racecourse. It's also known for Regency buildings, including the Pittville Pump Room, a remnant of Cheltenham’s past as a spa town. There's fine art at The Wilson museum, and the Victorian Everyman Theatre has an ornate auditorium.
Note: Parking for two cars is available: one space is in front of the property, with the second space on the driveway, however the driveway is quite steep, so it is only suitable for a 4x4 vehicle; further quiet on-street parking is available in the village.
Note: The property is on a hill and has a terraced garden, which has some unprotected ledges therefore young children should therefore be supervised outside at all times.
