Sue “Garden needs a little bit of love, mow lawn get rid of few weeds.”
Other than that, very pretty and peaceful by the stream. Unfortunately we didn't realise there were more comfy garden chairs in the shed.
Other than that, very pretty and peaceful by the stream. Unfortunately we didn't realise there were more comfy garden chairs in the shed. Bigger mirrors in the bedrooms would have been nice. But all in all, a lovely cute cottage, we had a perfect weekend.

Kelvin “Fabulous cottage, excellent position, could do with a dressing table and a chest of drawers in each bedroom.”
Kitchen could be better appointed in terms of utensils all in all very clean and generally a great place to stay loads of hot water , very comfortable . Blockley cafe is an absolute must ! For evening dining Wednesday to Saturday fine dining better than many London restaurants without London prices. Also good for lunches , breakfasts and coffee. Good walks all around .our second time in Blockley and not our last

Andria “We spent a wonderful week at Meadow Brook cottage with our children.”
The cottage was perfect for all our needs and felt very much like home. It is a spacious property with plenty of storage space, beautifully furnished and carpeted upstairs. The kitchen was a good size and very well appointed. The garden and brook were an exciting adventure for my younger kids. We have stayed at several Character cottages, and while each one is special in its own way, Meadow Brook is definitely one of the best. Blockley is our favourite village, with a beautiful church, shop, cafe, pubs and playground providing plenty of distractions for young children, and the cottage was perfectly placed to get to the village centre or to any number of country walks in minutes.
- Andria, February 2022Thank you for your amazing feedback, it's great you and your family felt like you where at home during your stay. It is a wonderful place to be based and to explore the Cotswolds. We hope to welcome you back again soon. Property Owner
Steven “The address of the property is confusing and is not discoverable on GPS.”
1 Rose Row BLOCKLEY United Kingdom GL56 9HJ This made it very difficult for us as we were not permitted to check in before 5pm and it was dark by the time we arrived. Address should be: 1 Rose Row High Street BLOCKLEY United Kingdom GL56 9HJ

Richard “Hello, Thank you so much for our wonderful stay at Meadow brook cottage.”
The cottage itself is beautiful and in a beautiful village. We really did have the most amazing time. Thank you for the cake and wine which was a lovely touch. To feedback a few very minor things that could be improved (please note these are all very minor and only suggesting these to enhance other users experience further): -the light sensor on the 2nd floor was a bit of an inconvenience for us as it woke up our toddler sleeping in the smaller bedroom -the knives in knife block were very blunt and could really do with a sharpen as chopping root veg was quite a challenge -the bed in the master bedroom was very squeaky on turning/getting in and out of bed and woke our baby in the travel cot a few times. Overall we were delighted with our stay. Thank you.

Its great to hear how much you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your feedback, these comments will get reviewed by the owner. We hope to welcome you back again in the future. Property Owner
Martin. “Beautiful cottage in a lovely setting in a superb location.”
- Martin., May 2021Emma “This cottage is beautifully presented, in a fantastic location, and the hosts were brilliant.”
Space is comfortable, clean and relaxing. Would definitely stay again.
- Emma, May 2021Mark “We had a fabulous week at Meadowbrook.”
The cottage is beautiful, so tastefully renovated and extended and in such a beautiful location. We loved the double oven, the huge bathroom and shower, the skylights in the kitchen and the gorgeous terrace. The bed was so comfortable too. It was fascinating to read the local history, see the mills and other historical buildings and to stay in a workers' cottage. We loved walking down the passage to get to the door. We thought of the many tired mill workers who would have done the same after a hard day's work. We however were coming home to pure luxury. All shops deliver to the cottage, which made food shopping easy. The shop/cafe in the village centre is brilliant and stocked everything and more that we needed. We were also very lucky to see an episode of 'Father Brown' being filmed at the church. The local walks are stunning. We walked in Chipping Campden, Broadway, Moreton and Stanton. We would have loved to have stayed for longer. We would definitely stay at a Character Cottage again. Our interaction with staff was exemplary.
- Mark, May 2021Faye “We loved our stay, the cottage is lovely and a lot more space inside than you expect.”
Lovely touches like cake and wine left. We stayed with 2 young children and it was perfect, the village only has one shop and a couple of pubs so not a tourist trap which makes it lovely and quiet - every person we walked past said good morning which made us feel very welcome. The real highlight is the garden and view, we loved watching the sheep and pheasants every day and if it had been warmer we would definitely have gone for a paddle in the shallow stream that runs right through the garden.
- Faye, Apr 2021Helen “We had a great time at meadow cottage.”
The cottage was comfy and had lots of lovely modern touches, with a great waterfall shower, comfy sofas and brilliant kitchen. The perfect place to cosy up in for a little getaway, and a brilliant base for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds!

The peaceful Blockley Brook flows through the village centre, and there are many local walks and cycle routes to enjoy in the surrounding countryside. The brook once had 12 watermills lining its banks, bringing wealth to the area during the height of the wool industry, and one of these mills is now Mill Dene Garden, a hidden gem which is open to the public and features a misty grotto, mill pond and gorgeous flowers in bloom.
