“The house was very run down and tatty.”

Paint coming off the walls, taps broken, the conservatory windows had condensation streaming down them. We had an issue with a hot tap which we could not turn off and we had to get somebody out to fix it on a Sunday. There wasn't any welcome pack with instructions on what the wifi code was or where the router was. It was a case of hunting around to find things. I work in luxury property and I expected a bit more from this, as the cottage was not cheap to rent. ...

I work in luxury property and I expected a bit more from this, as the cottage was not cheap to rent. The grounds and location of the house is beautiful but the cottage itself was disappointing.

About the location

NAUNTON

Bourton-on-the-Water 4 miles; Stow-on-the-Wold 5 miles.

Naunton is positioned on either sides of the River Windrush, making it very picturesque as any of its neighbours in the hills between Stow and Cheltenham. Mentioned in the Doomsday Book as Niwetone. The hill overlooking the town is great for climbing up and viewing the church and the village. The Black Horse Inn is the local pub which provides great views into the heart of the Cotswolds.

Note: No Saturday or Sunday turnaround.

Please note the owner charges £100 for the hot tub, we need to advise the owner if the guest would like it.

Note: Infants who sleep in a cot do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions, the occupancy figure may only be exceeded by up to five additional infants.

Note: For the comfort of future guests, we ask that dogs remain downstairs, stay off the furniture and that no trace of a dog remains after your departure.

Note: The property’s garden is not enclosed; therefore, young children should be supervised outside at all times.

Note: The property is laid out over three floors and has restricted head height in the two eaves bedrooms, both of which could pose difficulty to guests with limited mobility.

Note: Use of the hot tub is subject to the owner’s terms of use which are available on request and due to new cleaning guidelines, the hot tub may not be up to full temperature upon arrival - we apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.
