About the location

Lower Swell

Lower Swell is every inch the classic Cotswolds village. Surrounded by rolling countryside this is quintessential Cotswolds in many ways. A cracking local pub is literally around the corner (run by a local brewery) along with a host of beautiful buildings including a pretty church. As you'd expect there are many walks into the surrounding countryside. As the cottage is located on the way 'out' of Lower Swell it is also very close Stow on the Wold, which is about 1 mile away, a 10 min walk up a foot path.

Note: No hen/stag or similar parties. Note: This property does not accept corporate, work related or commercial bookings of any kind. Note: There are steps and uneven levels in the garden, so young children should be supervised. Note: Logs for the open fire are provided between October and April; guests can purchase further log supplies locally. Note: A single day bed in the double room and a double sofa bed in the morning room are available on request. Note: As the entrance lane turn is tight, larger vehicles can be parked on the free on-street parking bays close by.
