Lee “Lovely property and great stay with our large visiting family.”
Good access to all surrounding towns. A lot of post left in entrance of property which questioned a when cleaned, facilities not as good as previous cottages I.e. no working hoover. Garden was lovely but grass had not been cut for a while. Overall lovely property but feel could be better with some more TLC.

Francesca “The cottage was ideal for our family, however as we wanted to self cater the kitchen was inadequate with the array of cooking implements, (small saucepans, no roasting dishes, old equipment) the house is quite shabby and had no soap, shampoos etc that would be expected.”
The Dyson vacuum cleaner had no plug/charger in order to charge and use. The bbq was not available and the fridge and freezer were both in need of repair, with fridge door seal not closing & freezer completely iced up. A larger fridge in the outhouse was absolutely filthy and unusable. The front door lock needed repair and the garden had not been maintained, lawns mown etc.
- Francesca, April 2022Joanne “The house was lovely, a little disappointed to find the cleaners still there at 5pm check in, evidently the previous people did not vacate until 12pm.”
They finished up quickly and we were in. The BBQ was unusual, but a quick call to the out of hours team and a new one was delivered the next morning. So the day was saved.
- Joanne, Jun 2021Caroline “Lovely property, very nicely decorated.”
Nice outdoor seating space and large garden. Cosy lounge area and great open plan kitchen/dining area with morning sun. Pretty much everything you would need in the kitchen. Professional company.
- Caroline, Sep 2020Garrett “Lovely house, perfect for exploring the Cotswolds.”
- Garrett, Aug 2020Jan “This house was just delightful to live in.”
Its kitchen/dining/lounge room with its underfloor heating and the wonderful wall of windows looking out onto the garden was a great communal space that definitely let us feel we were in the Cotswolds. It was close to the pub and a short drive away from plenty of wonderful Cotswolds towns and villages. We didn’t want to leave!
- Jan, Jan 2020Jeanette “Beautiful house with lots of space for a large group.”
Great location too.
- Jeanette, Jan 2020Helena Nilsson “Lovely place, beautiful location, had an amazing stay!”
- Helena Nilsson, Nov 2019Judi “Willows House was perfect for our family reunion.”
Eight people from three generations all fitted perfectly. The house is beautifully put together and is really cosy. There was plenty of room to get away from each other if we wanted to or all be together when we wanted to. We stayed for five days and mainly catered for ourselves. There was plenty of equipment in the kitchen to do so and some wonderful memories were made around the kitchen table. Highly recommend it.
- Judi, Oct 2019Julie “Full of character.”
Kitchen well stocked for equipment and crockery. Lots of seating for relaxing. Very private.
- Julie, Sep 2019Sarah “We loved staying here and instantly fell in love when we saw it.”
The property was so spacious and it meant that the ten of us could spread out and really enjoy the house. Each room was beautifully decorated and was well thought out. The garden at the back was so calming and peaceful and we loved that there was so much space to park our three cars. We were sad to leave!
