Richard “Lovely cottage in beautiful location, just minutes walk from fabulous pub/ restaurant.”
It did feel a little tired inside, curtains and some furniture in particular. We discovered it was up for sale and so perhaps the.cycle of renewing things hasn’t taken place. I also think we would have had difficulty cooking from scratch, utensils and pots n pans were quite random . Property was warm, beautiful log fire and underfloor heating was amazing. Showers fabulous but once the hot water is gone it is gone. Internal stairs were steep, we were fine but if folks are a little infirm ...
Internal stairs were steep, we were fine but if folks are a little infirm it could be a challenge, there are steps from kitchen to living area too. Parking was easy, the garden was very well maintained was communal but we were not able to use it due to the weather . That said, the weekend was meant as a short break for two and it was lovely. It’s an area we would definitely return to.

Lovely outside seating area and very cosy kitchen and sitting room for winter evenings. Lovely walks from cottage . Very quiet and peaceful.
- Catherine, May 2021Oli “Outstanding cottage.”
Perfect location, lovely layout with extremely comfortable beds and a very cosy living room with log burning stove. Really warm, well furnished and Sally was a superb host who went out of her way to help. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will most certainly be returning again soon
- Oli, Oct 2020Rachael “Beautiful cottage in a lovely village location.”
Would highly recommend.
- Rachael, Dec 2019Lara “We had a very special weekend with our family at Rambling Rose cottage.”
Beautifully appointed with excellent amenities. Every attention to detail was catered for with extra care organising a high chair and cot for our little one. We’ll be going back for sure!
- Lara, Aug 2019Richard “Nice cosy cottage in a quiet village setting with two pubs in close walking distance with good ale and nice food.”
Easy to get out and to the main Cotswolds attractions. Cottage had everything we needed and was clean and well prepared for our stay. WiFi was good enough to stream sky/films through amazon fire stick which worked with the TV. Nice outside area for evening drinks. Could do with a barbecue but should we go back we’ll know to take one. Plenty of space for a family of four. If we return to this area in coming years , we’d definitely look at Rambling Rose Cottage again.
- Richard, Aug 2019Felicia “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rambling Rose Cottage.”

- Mark, Jul 2018Lee “The cottage is in a great location to get to other places.”
The area is so quiet so great in the evenings to have some wine and relax. The local village (just over 2 miles away) is surprisingly busy especially in the evenings to perfect to drive down to or a brisk 45 minute walk.

The bottle of wine was a lovely welcome gesture. We all felt that we could have easily lived there it was much more homely than other holiday cottages we have stayed in. We loved the village and the nearby towns. We would recommend this cottage and would stay there again.
