    “Dove Cottage was just perfect.”

The property was well presented, clean and comfortable. The location was superb, Naunton was a beautiful village, and a great base for exploring the Cotswolds.

About the location

NAUNTON

Bourton-on-the-Water 4 miles; Stow-on-the-Wold 5 miles.

Naunton is positioned on either sides of the River Windrush, making it very picturesque as any of its neighbours in the hills between Stow and Cheltenham. Mentioned in the Doomsday Book as Niwetone. The hill overlooking the town is great for climbing up and viewing the church and the village. The Black Horse Inn is the local pub which provides great views into the heart of the Cotswolds.

Please note - no Sunday changeovers.

Note: There is no boundary fence to the garden and that Naunton village has a strict policy that dogs must be kept on leads everywhere when out walking, including on the village recreation field and footpaths.

Note: For the comfort of future guests, we ask that dogs remain downstairs, stay off the furniture and that no trace of a dog remains after your departure and we also ask that dogs are never left alone in the property.

Note: For the sake of our neighbours, we ask you please to avoid loud music late in the evenings.

Note: This property has many character features, including several steps leading up to the front door, narrow and steep stairs, some very low beams, and sloping ceilings, which could pose difficulty to guests with limited mobility.

Note: No candles or nightlights are permitted inside the cottage.

Note: The second-floor twin beds are zip/link and can be set up as a king on request.
