“Hi I have left this feedback for a couple of weeks to put together a listing: 1.”

No heating in the studio for many days and many visits by maintenance and plumber. The boiler needs replacing as you cannot control the heat once you have got it. It seems the boiler has not been maintained. 2. Beds in Studio and upstairs double bed extremely uncomfortable in fact the one in the Studio is not fit for purpose, too low and hard and dangerous as too large for the room. 3. No rails in shower in studio or slip mat very dangerous!! 4. The glass around the studio should have markings ...

No rails in shower in studio or slip mat very dangerous!! 4. The glass around the studio should have markings in case someone walks into it. Health and Safety!!!! 5. Cutlery in the Cottage is dangerous one of the spoons broke and nearly cut the users hand. 6. Its not pet friendly but could be........ The garden is not dog friendly but it could be made so very easily. 7. I spent three days in The Great South Western Hospital, Swindon with my Mum who had a stroke on Boxing Day evening their 65th Wedding Anniversary. She got so wound up..... with everything. I am so grateful to the quick response by Paramedics and the Stroke Team at the Hospital. 8. Also it could have been left a little cleaner bit dirty, glasses left in dishwasher and the bathroom had a lot of items after maintenance left by the bath. If you need photo evidence we have it all. 9. I would like to pass on my thanks to Helen (Manor Cottages), The maintenance guy I think his name is Stuart and also the Plumber Lewis at one time who helped us so much. 10. The window in the bunk beds room you cannot open. Not very Health and Safety. 11. On the other hand with a few alterations it could be made such a lovely property. Thank you and God Bless You.

The property

These two stone-fronted cottages tucked away in the tranquil community of South Cerney on the outskirts of the Cotswolds.

These two cottages provide characterful interiors with a mix of feature beams and contemporary décor, making them an ideal getaway for a family of six.

Park off-road and explore the one-bedroom ground floor cottage, which features a king-size bedroom with a TV for a movie night under the covers.

As you make your way through the house, stop by the modern shower room for a morning rinse before entering the light and spacious living area.

Relax on the sofa with a cup of coffee from the espresso machine as natural light floods in through the floor to ceiling windows.

Open the patio downs to enjoy the sun trapped patio garden with wooden furniture.

The two-bedroom house is next door; enter a corridor to find the sitting room, where you may curl up with a good book and disappear.

Use the double oven and gas stove in the white-glossed kitchen; when the meals are ready, meet in the dining room and toast to your special getaway.

Take a trip upstairs to choose between two nice bedrooms, a double and a bunk room, then relax in the bathroom before sliding into bed.

Start your day with a cup of tea in the tranquil back yard before planning your day.

There's paddle boarding at Cotswold Water Park Hire, watersports at Cotswold Country Park & Beach, and a picnic on the sand at Cotswold Country Park & Beach, and if that's not your thing, explore Cotswold and all it has to offer.

Visit Cirencester's hidden jewel, the Amphitheatre, and learn about the town's rich history at the Corinium Museum before dining out at one of the many great restaurants!

The Cottage and The Studio are also close to Gloucester, which has a Romanesque cathedral and a prehistoric museum, as well as Cheltenham, which has a racecourse where you can dress up to the nines!

Book a room at The Cottage & Studio for a relaxing trip to the Cotswolds.
