The terrace needs to be weeded I did report this and more attention to cleanliness for example lots of dust and cobwebs and ledges on doors it is meant to be an enhanced clean as check in is 6pm but in welcome book said 4pm and check out is 10am so plenty of time to clean as the check in times and out are still under covid rules and have not gone back to normal

Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry that the cleanliness was not up to our usual high standards. This has now been addressed, together with the weeding of the terrace. We have amended the check in time to 4.00 pm (this was the original time due to covid rules) so thank you for bringing this to our attention. We hope this didn't impact your stay and look forward to welcoming you again. Property Owner

The property

The exquisitely maintained Grade II historic Abbots Cottage beds four people in two chic bedrooms and has a contemporary family bathroom. This delightful vacation rental, which dates back to the 17th-century, has a traditional façade and many charming features, such as a lovely inglenook fireplace and an alluring wood burning stove in the living room. The stylish decor and contemporary amenities, such as wireless internet access, a Smart TV with an Amazon Prime and Netflix subscription, and a well-stocked kitchen, have well matched the limestone floors, exposed beams, and exposed stone walls. The enclosed terrace offers a calm environment for dining alfresco, and nearby, unrestricted on-street parking is easily accessible. The thriving market town of Winchcombe, an ancient Saxon village dubbed the walking capital of the Cotswolds, is home to Abbots Cottage. The town enjoys a wide selection of independent stores, bars, and eateries. It also hosts a number of regular events, such as festivals and fundraisers as well as open gardens and tea dances. It is also home to well-known tourist sites like the old Sudeley Castle and the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway, which stops in Winchcombe to pick up passengers on its 28-mile round trip. It also has restaurants and events. Winchcombe is surrounded by gorgeous countryside, and there are countless walks and biking routes that can be found right outside your door. A strenuous climb up to Belas Knap, a Neolithic long barrow maintained by English Heritage, is one of numerous circular treks in the vicinity that include the town's famous Cotswold Way long distance walking track. It is also well located for visiting the North Cotswolds' many other charming towns and villages, including Cheltenham, Chipping Campden, Broadway, and Snowshill, which is home to Snowshill Manor and the Lavender Fields, a must-see in the summer. Day trips can be taken to farther-off locations including Warwick Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Oxford. Whisk your loved ones away to Abbots Cottage.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £150.
