    Beautiful decor, comfortable beds with lovely White Company linen and a en-suite/bathroom for each room. Perfectly situated in the quieter part of Broadway but within an easy walk to the shops and restaurants. Two parking spaces a bonus.

The property

Halfway House is a stunning Grade II listed property, which is believed to have been part of a coaching inn dating back to the mid-18th century. The cottage enjoys a peaceful location, yet is just moments away from the centre of the historic market town of Broadway, with its wide range of art galleries, restaurants and pubs. The famed Cotswold Way walking path is also close by, as are many other scenic walks, and Broadway is well located for exploring all the lovely towns and villages of the North Cotswolds, as well as places such as Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle and the dreaming spires of Oxford. This lovely Cotswold stone cottage has a wealth of character features, including exposed Cotswold stone walls, oak beams and two wood burning stoves. The character of the cottage is complemented by its modern facilities, including wireless internet access, four TVs and a well presented kitchen. Halfway House sleeps six people, in three bedrooms, with three ensuite bathrooms. There is a small garden at the front of the cottage and there are two allocated off-street parking spaces. Halfway House is ideal for a family with older children, or a group of friends seeking a relaxing break in one of the Cotswolds’ loveliest towns. Halfway House is located on a quiet road in the heart of Broadway. The front door is located at the side of the property and opens into a hallway. The following rooms are on the well laid out ground floor: Living room: This spacious and character filled room is beautifully presented. There are two bay windows, with window seats, two three seater sofas, oak beams, and a stone fireplace with a wood burning stove. A wall mounted Smart TV sits above the fireplace; Dining room: Another stunning room, with exposed Cotswold stone walls, oak beams and a large inglenook fireplace, which contains the original bread oven and a wood burning stove. There is a wooden dining table with comfortable seating for six; Kitchen: Accessed from the dining room, this well presented room has a gas range cooker with two ovens, a six ring gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and filter coffee machine, as well as a Bose radio & CD player. There is a utility space at the end of the kitchen with a washing machine, tumble dryer and a second sink. Traditional stairs lead up to the impressive, spacious first floor landing, which has two comfortable arm chairs, and provides access to the following rooms: Bedroom 1: A lovely room, which contains a king size bed, dressing table and Freeview TV. There is an ensuite shower room, which contains a walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin; Bedroom 2: Located at the back of the house, this room also contains a king size bed and a wardrobe. A door leads directly into the family bathroom, which doubles up as bedroom 2's ensuite facility; Family/ensuite bathroom: This large bathroom is accessed from both the first floor landing and bedroom 2. It contains a freestanding bath with a handheld shower attachment, toilet and wash basin. Traditional stairs from the landing lead to the second floor bedroom: Bedroom 3: This charming eaves room has a king size bed, ornamental fire place, dressing table and wardrobe. There is also an ensuite shower room, which contains a walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin At the front of the cottage is a very small ornamental front garden, bordered by yew trees, which contains a mental bench and two bistro chairs. Please note that although this area is idyllic it is not a large entertaining lounge area. There are two allocated off-street parking spaces at the rear of the property.
