No mobile signal, which is expected in a rural location but broadband also very slow lots of buffering.
Top of fridge filthy, made you question how clean the rest of the house was. Told by the managing agent that this would only be done as a deep clean. This was a free standing fridge freezer which was about 5 ft tall, apparently hard to reach!
Building works 2 doors down, woken up at 7:30am (weekends were fine) with the noise of machinery
Television also buffering
Water pressure non existent, couldn't have a bath.
This house was so tranquil, the gardens were full of birds, bees and butterflies, a beautiful part of the Country and a lovely location only 3/4s of a mile from Bibury. It's a pity my concerns were just dismissed by the managing agent. Spent more time referring me to clauses in the booking conditions than reviewing my concerns.
Thank you for your feedback with regards to your stay at Old Farm Cottage. I can only apologise for the issues you had when trying to pay for your holiday, it would seem from the notes, that it was a technical problem, which was solved in the end, but never the less frustrating for yourselves. I will make the owner aware of your comments with regards to the broadband not being to fast and hopefully this can be looked into. I will also pass on your comments about the cleaning to the owner, to review with the Housekeeper. We do have a very high standard of cleaning and again can only apologise if it hasn't been up to standard on this occasion.
We hope you still had a lovely stay and make the most of the wonderful location, it's a great spot to be based and so many lovely places to visit in the Cotswolds. Property Owner
