“A wonderful cosy cottage with everything we needed for a great stay; just minutes away from Broadway High Street.”

Once we had negotiated the steep winding staircase and low door frames it was perfect for what we wanted. A Christmas in a cosy thatched cottage in the Cotswolds.

“Such a beautiful Cottage!”

We have so enjoyed our stay in Broadway. We have made the most of the pretty garden and BBQ’d out there! The beds are so comfy and being someone who suffers with a bad back this is always so important when we go away. “Pretty cottage, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and a sun trap garden-bliss!”

The village is lovely and the people friendly. The museum is really interesting. Went on a couple of lovely walks. Plenty of choice of cafés and restaurants, and plenty of gluten-free choice-the gluten-free fish and chips at Russell’s was fresh and tasty. Really enjoyed our stay at Orchard cottage and will be back next year.

Everything was laid out so clearly for us, and the local information so useful. We enjoyed numerous cream teas and delicious lunches in Broadway! We then managed to walk it off in the beautiful country surroundings. The cottage itself was so cosy and we enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen and relaxing in front of the fire. The beds were so comfy, and we slept really well during our stay. Thanks again for everything!

“What a wonderful cottage.”

Broadway is a wonderful village, and Orchard cottage is an easy walk to all the amazing old English pubs and stores. The local deli is so quaint, with fabulous fresh foods, baked products, fresh fruit and veg – a delight. Wonderful hikes and I loved the steam Railway! We walked down, and had a lovely trip to the beautiful Cotswold village of Winchcombe, what fun!! The cottage itself is beautiful-over 300 years old-incredible!! It is summer so we took full advantage of the outside seating and the grill. Thanks so much for the welcome gifts. The cottage was lovely and clean with comfy beds and high quality towels and linens. The personalised towels were a nice touch. The Internet was good, and we were pleased that we could use our mobile phones in the area. Our friends were happy to make use of the travel cot and high chair for their small one, and my wife made great use of the wine fridge, although we all helped to drink it ha ha! Was very clear, and even though I had a question when I got there, Sharon was able to answer very quickly. Fabulous service. We will be back next year. We love the Cotswolds, we love Broadway, and we love Orchard cottage!!!

“Although we had rain for eight of the ten days we stayed at Orchard Cottage, we had a lovely time there indeed.”

Everything in the cottage was as described in the advertising materials. It was well presented, clean and very comfortable. Importantly the availability of books, board games and Netflix access allowed us to while away those rainy days when we were not visiting the local attractions. Of note was the wonderful assistance provided by Linda of MoLo Holiday Housekeepers. When the oven was playing up she swiftly saw to its repair. Plus she arranged the mid-term clean to suit our needs. We are grateful for her prompt assistance. We had friends stay with us at Orchard Cottage and we all said we would return one day.

Orchard Cottage is an eye-catching thatched and timbered property on a quiet road in Broadway, one of the prettiest villages in the Cotswolds. The wide tree-lined high street is home to a selection of restaurants, pubs, tea rooms, independent shops, art galleries and museums, all housed within beautiful honey-coloured Cotswold stone properties. Surrounded by glorious countryside, there are many cycle routes and walks to discover, including the short yet energetic walk along part of the Cotswold Way walking trail up to Broadway Tower, with breathtaking views at the top. Broadway is an ideal location for exploring the many pretty towns and villages of the North Cotswolds, as well as other tourist destinations such as Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford and Blenheim Palace. The property has a wealth of character features including an exposed Cotswold stone wall, painted oak beams and a stone fireplace with an electric flame effect stove, a contemporary twist to a log burner. Modern facilities including wireless internet access, a Smart TV and DVD player complement the traditional features, and the stylish interior creates and bright and airy feel to the cottage. Orchard Cottage sleeps four people, in two elegant bedrooms, with a lovely family bathroom. There is an attractive enclosed garden at the rear, and on-street parking can be found nearby. Orchard Cottage is ideal for a small family or group of friends seeking a charming cottage in one of the UK’s most-loved villages. The pretty stable door opens into an entrance hall with space for hanging coats and storing shoes. Two steps lead down into the living room, and the following rooms are on the ground floor: Living room: This stunning room has a beautiful exposed Cotswold stone wall and a stone fireplace with an electric flame effect stove. There is a leather sofa, two armchairs, a leather pouffe and an Ottoman, and a small selection of board games and the wall-mounted Smart TV with DVD player provide entertainment for rainy days; Kitchen/dining room: The well-equipped kitchen overlooks the enclosed garden and contains an electric oven with four-ring induction hob, kettle, toaster, coffee percolator, a fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a washing machine. This sociable space also has a wooden table with seating for four, as well as a leather sofa and a stereo; Family bathroom: The smart bathroom, decorated in neutral colours, contains a bath with overhead shower, toilet and wash basin. A wooden door from the living room opens to reveal a steep staircase up to the first floor landing, off which are the two bedrooms in the eaves: Master bedroom: This romantic room has a double bed, a chest of drawers and a hanging rail for further storage; Bedroom 2: This cosy room overlooks the garden and has a built-in double bed, chest of drawers and hanging rail. The garden is accessed from the kitchen and has two attractive seating areas bordered by leafy shrubs and colourful flowers. One area has a Rattan furniture set and the other has an outdoor table with seating for four, along with a charcoal barbecue. The rest of the garden is laid to lawn and is a lovely area to relax and unwind in the warmer months. Free on-street parking is available on the neighbouring streets and Pay & Display car parks can be found in the village if needed.
