Pear Tree Cottage is a stunning property which sleeps six guests (see Key Features), in three bedrooms, with two contemporary bathrooms. Dating back to the mid-19th century, this charming property features both Cotswold stone and red brick façades and boasts beautiful interiors with exposed beams, a wood burning stove and an ornamental Victorian fireplace. These character features have been complemented with stylish soft furnishings and modern facilities including wireless internet access, two Smart TVs and a well-equipped kitchen. An enchanting garden at the rear leads towards the parking area in which there are allocated spaces for up to two cars. Pear Tree Cottage is situated in scenic Mickleton, an attractive village which has two pubs, a post office, traditional butcher, farm shop, children’s playground and impressive Anglican church. On Fridays, The Three Ways House Hotel hosts the Pudding Club, a themed evening where guests sample the ‘Parade of Seven Puddings’ and vote for their favourite afterwards. Located on the northern edge of the Cotswolds, the village is surrounded by glorious countryside with many cycle routes and footpaths on its doorstep including those to Meon Hill, the site of an Iron Age hillfort. Mickleton is well-placed for exploring the many lovely towns and villages of the North Cotswolds including Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Broadway and Blockley, home to a variety of pubs, restaurants and tearooms. The popular tourist attractions of Hidcote Gardens, Broadway Tower, the Lavender Farm and Fields and the Cotswold Falconry Centre are easily accessible, and further afield destinations such as Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford and Bath are also within easy reach for day trips. Pear Tree Cottage is the perfect retreat for a family break or for a group of friends who are seeking a relaxing get together surrounded by breathtaking countryside. The front door opens into a stylish and practical entrance hall, off which are the following rooms: Living/dining room: This beautifully presented dual aspect room has been finished in a contemporary style and contains a fireplace with a cosy wood burning stove, three-seater sofa, two-seater sofa, Smart TV, DVD player, small selection of books and DVDs, and an extendable wooden dining table with seating for six; Kitchen: Boasting exposed wooden beams and garden views, this well-equipped country style kitchen contains an ornamental Victorian fireplace with exposed brickwork, an electric oven with four-ring electric hob, fridge, freezer, slimline dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and a bistro table with seating for two. Stairs lead up from the entrance hall to the first floor landing which has a freestanding wardrobe for guest use. The following rooms are on the first floor: Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom: With colourful soft furnishings that contrast against the dark beams, this tastefully decorated bedroom contains a double bed, chest of drawers and a wall mirror. Finished to a high standard, the spacious ensuite contains a walk-in rain shower with separate handheld shower attachment, toilet, wash basin and heated towel rail. There is also a cupboard which houses the washing machine; Family bathroom: This bright and airy bathroom contains a roll top bath with handheld shower attachment, walk-in rain shower with separate handheld shower attachment, toilet, wash basin and heated towel rail. Further stairs lead up from the first floor landing to the second floor landing which has a storage unit for guest use. The following rooms are located on the second floor: Bedroom 2: This well-proportioned dual aspect bedroom in the eaves has exposed beams and enjoys views of the garden and Cotswold Rise beyond. Perfect for a restful night, this room contains a king size bed, Smart TV with DVD player, loveseat, chest of drawers, a dressing table with a stool, and a full length mirror; Bedroom 3: This cosy bedroom in the eaves contains a double bed (this can only be accessed from one side) and a chest of drawers. Accessed via the kitchen, the wonderful garden is a tranquil spot to relax with friends and family in the warmer months. Mature shrubs, trees and fragrant flowers border the well-maintained lawn which is home to a charcoal barbecue and an outdoor table with a parasol and seating for six. Though the garden is enclosed, please note there is an access path for the neighbours which passes by the kitchen to a gate in the fence. At the end of the garden there is a shared parking area which has one allocated parking space for Pear Tree Cottage. In addition to this, there is a private garage which can accommodate one medium sized car.

The charming village of Mickleton in Gloucestershire lies on the western edge of the Cotswolds Hills, close to the borders of Warwickshire and Worcestershire. Boasting many attractive black and white buildings, Mickleton offers a good selection of village amenities including a well-stocked shop, farm shops offering a taste of the area and two traditional pubs. Mickleton village is home to the famous Pudding Club at the Three Ways House Hotel, Definitely worth booking ahead for a full on 'Pudding Club experience'. Mickleton lies just south of the infamous Meon Hill, said to have inspired Tolkien's Weathertop from The Lord of the Rings. The small market town of Chipping Campden is close by, boasting an elegant terraced high street dating back to the 14th century. Here you can discover old inns, specialist shops, tea rooms and a splendid 17th century market hall. Also nearby is Shipston-on-Stour with its magnificent 17th century church. Stratford-upon-Avon can be reached within a pleasant drive, and is alive with character with its famous theatre, medieval buildings, cafes, charming riverside walks and boating trips. The magnificent medieval castle at Warwick makes a great day out for all the family, or why not visit the National Trust house at Charlecote Park with its graceful gardens, intriguing maze and deer park?
