The property

Resting on the grounds of an idyllic small holding within the quintessential English village of Chacombe, the lodges themselves sit either side of the Northamptonshire Oxfordshire county lines.

Boasting an inviting open-plan living space, this attractive wooden lodge is perfect for couples looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Spend cold winters nights snuggled up on the plush sofa as you enjoy a quiet night in front of the TV around your firepit, or embrace your stunning surroundings and views of the tranquil lake as you indulge in a dip in the hot tub.

Delight in drinks at the outdoor dining space, take a seat on the floating pontoons sipping on a refreshing glass of bubbly as you watch the sun set on another incredible day, before grabbing a quick wash in the shower room and laying your head to rest.

The local pub dates to 17th Century and It is a short 5 min walk up the footpath just outside the gates of the site, As well as its warm welcome and its specialty ales it offers excellent locally sourced freshly made food either eat in or take away.

The public footpath that passes through the entrance to the site is part of the Jurassic way which follows a seam of Jurassic limestone starting in Banbury through Northamptonshire up into Lincolnshire.

When ready to explore the very best that the Midlands has to offer, head for Banbury, Warwick or Stratford and see some to see some of the finest local landmarks.

With easy access to the towns of Banbury and Towcester, the area is filled with an abundance of exciting local landmarks and action-packed activities to be enjoyed during your stay. Just a stone's throw away, the town of Bicester is home to one of the most popular shopping outlets in Europe with some of your favourite stores and a wide selection of eateries. Further south, the striking and historical city of Oxford has a plethora of attractions such as the medieval remains of Oxford Castle & Prison, Tower of the Five Orders and many interactive museums offering fun for all!
