Michelle “The cottage is very sweet and was the perfect place for my family to rest and hunker down for a few days.”
It feels very homely and Kitty was amazingly helpful and friendly. We really appreciated the festive decorations around the cottage - a lovely touch. The cottage is well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The fireplace was super cozy and the boys loved saying hello to their friendly dog too! Thank you for everything. We have loved our stay and will come again for sure.

There are lovely walks nearby and there was plenty of information on local amenities provided by the hosts (i.e. we could have seen a lot more still had we not been so lazy). Just a really nice and relaxing place to spend a long weekend.

About the location
CHIPPING CAMPDEN
Moreton-in-Marsh 8 miles; Stratford-upon-Avon 12 miles
This market town defines the saying "good things come in small packages" as it proves itself to be a wonderful place for tourists to stay. Chipping Campden sits in the northern part of the Cotswolds and boasts many historical buildings from St. James' church where the Chipping Camden Music Festival is held every year, to the early 17th century market hall upon which the town prides itself. Not only does the town have a rich history but much more, the high street is laced with charming Cotswold stone buildings with a range of shops and pubs. Nearby there are several beautiful, formal gardens for you to wander through. Chipping Campden has held its own 'Olimpick Games' since the early 1600s including peculiar sports such as 'shin-kicking', most certainly worth lining your holiday up with to experience something so unique. For a dose of famous history, head to the birthplace of William Shakespeare in Stratford-upon-Avon just 12 short miles away, it offers some charming little buildings, bookshops, theatres and museums.
Note: The friendly owners may be seen pottering around the garden at the weekends. Note: The owner’s dog, a very friendly Jack Russell, has access to the grounds, so this property is only suitable for guests whose dogs are friendly towards other dogs. Note: The garden is not enclosed and there is a pond in the woodland area, though it is fenced, children and dogs should be supervised outside at all times. Note: For the comfort of future guests, we ask that dogs stay off the furniture and that no trace of a dog remains after your departure. Note: If your arrival will be delayed beyond 8pm on the start date of your rental period, you must contact the owner; if you fail to do so, you may not be able to get into the property. Note: Tyte Cottage is all on one level, however, guests should be aware that there is a gravel driveway, and a step-in shower within the property, which could pose difficulty to guests with limited mobility. Note: Tyte Cottage is a self-contained property, which is part of Tyte Court, where the owners live, and the studio above Tyte Cottage is used by a local artist during office hours Monday to Friday. Note: One of the super-king-size beds is zip/link and can be twin on request.
