The property

A beautiful mid-terrace barn conversion located in the heart of the pretty Worcestershire village of Cleeve Prior, close to the Warwickshire border.

A warm and welcoming feel is most certainly evident as you enter this spacious cottage.

It is also clear that the property has been lovingly refurbished, with contemporary furnishings seamlessly combined with many original features, such as exposed beams.

On the first floor, the two lovely bedrooms, one king-size and one twin, ensure you wake up refreshed, and there's also a delightful bathroom and the added benefit of a dressing room for all those holiday clothes.

The superb country kitchen has a dining table to seat all guests, ideal for catching up with friends over dinner, after which you can relax in the pleasant sitting room which boasts sumptuous sofas and a charming fireplace, housing a warming open fire.

The rear garden can be accessed from the kitchen and the sitting room and offers a lovely patio area with furniture for alfresco dining with the family, as well as loungers, for relaxing on a summer's afternoon in the sunshine.

The garden boasts a well-stocked fish pond and a splendid original well, as well as a small garage for locking away bikes and fishing gear, and an external tap offering both hot and cold water, ideal for washing your dog's muddy paws after a long walk in the countryside.

The village of Bretforton is also nearby and has a thriving 600-year-old pub, hosting festivals throughout the year.

With Evesham, Pershore and many other pretty towns and villages within easy reach, this wonderful cottage is a superb base for a countryside holiday to remember.

A picturesque Worcestershire village on the banks of the River Avon, located between Evesham and Stratford-upon-Avon. The centre of the village is a Conservation Area and many lovely walks can be enjoyed from here, with Shakespeare's Avon Way passing close by. The quintessential Cotswolds village of Broadway is nearby and has individual shops and boutiques, art galleries, restaurants and hotels including the world-renowned Lygon Arms, which has been popular for centuries and now offers spa facilities, enjoyed at pre-arranged times. The surrounding countryside is famous for its fruit-growing and market gardening, and there are lots of unspoilt Cotswold towns and villages to explore, along with Cheltenham, with its Gold Cup Festival, the magnificent Royal Forest of Dean and Worcester, with its striking cathedral. The birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon, is just a short drive away and offers many historic buildings, The Royal Shakespeare Theatre and the pretty River Avon.
