The property

Garden Cottage is a beautifully finished property located in the charming market town of Chipping Norton. As well as having a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants, Chipping Norton is ideally placed for exploring the Cotswolds region, whether walking, cycling or riding through the beautiful countryside, or exploring the many other lovely towns and villages just a short drive away. Chipping Norton is also well placed for visiting other world famous attractions, such as Blenheim Palace, Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Renovated to a high standard, the owners have retained many character features including exposed oak beams, Cotswold stone walls and a wood burning stove. These features have been complemented by modern facilities including wireless internet access, a Freeview TV with Apple TV box and a stylish and well-equipped Shaker-style kitchen. Garden Cottage sleeps four guests, in two well presented bedrooms, with a family bathroom, a beautifully landscaped garden and free on-street parking close to the property. Garden Cottage is the perfect retreat for a group of friends or a small family looking for a relaxing break in the heart of the Cotswolds. The wonderful open riser spiral staircase in the living room leads up to the first floor landing, off which are the following rooms: Bedroom 2: This smart and stylish bedroom overlooks the street below and has a lovely arched doorway. There is a double bed, a bedroom chair, a chest of drawers and hooks for hanging space; Family bathroom: Contains a bath with handheld shower attachment, toilet and wash basin. A second staircase leads from the first floor landing directly into the master bedroom: Master bedroom: This contemporary bedroom contains either a king size bed or two single beds (75cm wide), a bedroom chair, chest of drawers and wall-mounted hooks for hanging clothes. The wonderful walled garden is at the rear of the property, with a pathway that leads uphill to a patio area with a gas barbecue and garden table with seating for four. Continuing up, there is a second patio with further seating and a fire pit. The garden levels out with an elevated wild flower meadow and hammock, a lovely area to relax and unwind. With the lowest wall on the long south side, the garden enjoys sunshine throughout the day, while mature trees provide welcome shaded areas in the warmer months.
