Longborough is a beautiful village of Cotswold stone cottages, set away from busy roads on a hill slope, which looks east over the lovely Evenlode Valley. The village is two miles north of the famous market town of Stow-on-the-Wold, three miles south-west of Moreton-in-Marsh, and sits on the Heart of England Way.

The village is best known for the Longborough Festival Opera, which presents a season of high quality opera each June and July. The intimate auditorium seats just under 500, with an orchestra pit for up to 70 players, and some of the most glorious views in England. The village is also home to St James' Church, a beautiful Grade I listed building, which dates back to the 12th century.
