1| Visit the Market Square

Stow on the Wold has a vast Market Square, certainly one to be proud of. Go and soak up the atmosphere on a lively Saturday afternoon and see the ancient cross that stands at one end and the medieval town stocks which stand at the other.

This church is famed for its tree-framed doorway; it's a beautiful architectural gem and a great place for those who take an interest in history or stained glass designs.
