July just might be our favourite month of the year here at Character Cottages. Why you ask, because we’ve just found out that it’s National Ice Cream Month – not that we needed any excuse to indulge now the sun is shining.

Plus July 16th is National Ice Cream Day too!

In light of the celebration we decided to scout out where you can find the best ice-cream around the UK, based on TripAdvisor reviews.

No frills, just some delicious ice-cream served from this cute ice cream van which can usually be found under the Humber Bridge. The van is also available for hire to cater events, perfect for any upcoming summer dos.
